Clevens Face and Body Specialists Welcomes New Surgeons to Award-Winning Specialty Plastic Surgery Group
Melbourne, Fla. Sept. 1, 2022 – Facial Plastic Surgeon Ross A. Clevens, MD, FACS and the Clevens Face and Body Specialists team are excited to welcome aboard three new surgeons to Brevard’s award-winning specialty plastic surgery group and medspa.
Phillip Barbee, MD is a board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who recently completed a yearlong advanced fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Clevens. “We are so pleased that Dr. Barbee will remain as a permanent member of our facial plastic surgery team,” said Dr. Clevens, who has practiced locally for more than 25 years and frequently serves as an invited speaker at facial plastic surgery meetings around the world. “During the past year, I have had the opportunity to observe Dr. Barbee’s dedication to exceptional patient care, as well as his meticulous attention to detail in the operating room.” With more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Barbee specializes in cosmetic procedures such as facelift, eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty, as well as nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and skin cancer care for the face, head and neck.
Dr. Barbee completed his pre-med studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete his DDS degree at the University of Maryland and MD degree at the University of Florida. Dr. Barbee completed a Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Barbee gained extensive experience with head and neck cancer resection, post-traumatic facial reconstruction, craniofacial surgery and facial cosmetic surgery.
New to the team is Plastic Surgeon Andrew McGregor, MD, who specializes in breast surgery and body contouring procedures and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. With over a decade of surgical training and having performed more than 1,200 surgical cases during his plastic surgery residency, Dr. McGregor’s practice is focused exclusively on procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift and breast implant exchange, as well as tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).

After being awarded his undergraduate degree cum laude at the University of Florida, Dr. McGregor earned his MD degree at Ross University, graduating with the highest honors. Following medical school, Dr. McGregor completed two surgical residencies, both in general surgery at Danbury Hospital and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Nassau University Medical Center/Stony Brook University and Long Island Plastic Surgery Group. Dr. McGregor’s work experience includes serving as a research associate at Yale University’s Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Tatyana Khan, MD is completing a yearlong fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the direct guidance of Drs. Clevens and Barbee. Dr. Khan earned her medical degree at Tulane University and went on to complete research at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where she was also a resident in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. As a fellow in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Khan will be an integral part of the post-operative care team for facial plastic surgery patients and will provide skin cancer care and nonsurgical rejuvenation treatments for her patients.
