    Recovery After Receiving Lip Fillers

    After your lip filler treatment, you may experience some mild swelling or bruising, but you will have no further restrictions and can resume your ordinary activities immediately, with no downtime. While bruising and swelling are normal following this treatment, these effects will typically subside in a few days. Less common side effects include redness, mild discomfort, lumps, and itching.

    We’ll provide you with an ice pack to help soothe the treatment area. At our practice, it’s customary for us to meet with patients in a follow-up appointment about two weeks after your lip filler treatment to make sure you are completely happy with your results and to perform any enhancements that may be needed.
